Beautify the appearance Command Prompt

For Windows users, sometimes the facilities Command Prompt (DOS Prompt in the 9x version) rarely used. While many facilities are quite useful that can not be accessed through the other. Have previously described how to display folders / files that are hidden virus through Command Prompt (can read this article). If we see the default view / standard of the Command Prompt windows xp, it looks less interesting. Especially the form of a font, color and size is quite small. So to be more interesting, in fact we can set and adjust. Try to follow the steps as follows:

1. Open the Command Prompt (Start> All Programs> Accessories> Command Prompt)
2. Right-click the title bar and select Properties. or right-click its icon in the taskbar
3. Change Display, Fonts, size or color as you wish. Please select Color
4. Adjust Screen Background, Screen Text with the appropriate color
5. Click OK, then have two options, shown only on the active window or any window that is opened from the shortcut application
6. So, if you choose the first option, Command Prompt window will be directly changed
7. To make the color and settings become the default settings before, right-click its icon and select the default, then change the settings as you wish and save

In addition, there are a few other settings we can change, so the look better.

Some other settings that should change :

• Edit the Options tab mode option Quick Edit Mode. Enable this option so that we can directly make a text selection in the command prompt. To copy, click the icon on top left corner and select Edit menu click Copy (or directly select and press Enter)
• In the Font tab, in order to better select the font "Lucida Console" and set its size to be 14
• On the Layout tab. The Screen Buffer Size determines the maximum length of text that is displayed in horizontal and vertical / decrease. Adjust the Width and Height text you want displayed. Window Size determines the size of window. Add Height and Width values so that the display window is greater
• Tab Color. Here, the view can be customized font color, background and window background and Popup Text (Display text in the selection).
